The results are in!

This year’s annual Costessey Hike took place on Saturday 25th March.

Teams from 5 groups across the district took the challenge to hike around Costessey with tasks to complete along the way.

Volunteers manned checkpoints around the town, with each checkpoint having it’s own challenge for teams to complete. The teams were awarded points on presenation, leadship, behaviour and completion of the activity.

The points were pretty close across the board this year, with only 8 points between 1st and 3rd place.

1st Horsford & St Faiths lost their title from last year, slipping into 4th place. One of the 4 teams from 27th Norwich earned a hugely respectable 3rd place, with a mixed team from 18th Norwich (1st Hellesdon) and 2nd Hellesdon not far ahead in 2nd.

16th Norwich (Old Costessey) C Team bagged the top spot this year, with an impressive 570 points. They were awarded the Costessey Hike shield and earned well-deserved certificates and respect from their fellow scouts.
