Below is a list of everything you’ll need to have a fun, safe, dry and warm camping experience with us… It’s best if campers are there while the bags are being packed or even better do the packing themselves (perhaps with adult support)!

• Complete uniform (to be worn when travelling to & from camp)
• Rucksack/day bag (no bin bags)
• Sleeping bag
• Pyjamas
• Waterproof Coat
• Warm jumpers/fleeces
• T-shirts (including scouting t-shirts if you have them)
• Karrimat & blanket (or 2)
• Undearwear & socks
• Trousers/leggings (absolutely no jeans)
• Hankies/tissues
• Hat & gloves
• Trainers
• Hiking footwear (if possible)
• Personal wash kit & towel
• Something to read during quiet time

• Personal electronic devices (phones, MP3 players, handheld games consoles etc) are absolutely not allowed on camp and may be confiscated if found by a leader.
• Synthetic sleeping bags are easier to clean than those with natural fittings. Zips can be a cause of coldness if there’s no baffle fitted around it.
• A number of layers of warm clothing is better than one thick one. It’s also easier to control body heat this way.
