Scouts surge in New Costessey!

On Monday 14th September 2017, the 27th Norwich (New Costessey) Scout Group held it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2016-2017.

Not only is an AGM an important meeting to let everyone know about how we operate as a charity, but also a great way for our Scouting family to find out for themselves about all the great work that happens at 27th Norwich.

Scouts has been growing in New Costessey has been growing for years, with 2017 seeing record numbers of both adults and young people since the new millennium.

We usually like to tie the AGM in with another event and this year was no different with a barbecue and the launch of our new Active Support Unit (ASU).

Our ASU is the perfect place for anyone who wants to join the adventure Scouting provides but without any regular commitment. All you need to do is turn up with a willingness to get stuck in and we’ll provide the good times and all the skills you need.
