We hope you’ve had a great summer – can you believe it’s almost Spetember already!? Here’s all the latest news from 27th Norwich Scouts, including details of some upcoming events which we’d love to see you be a part of.
We’ve got lots planned for the new year and here are some important dates to note for September and beyond, put them in your diary now!

All are invited to our Annual General Meeting to let you know everything we’ve been up to and plans for the year ahead – with refreshments, special awards and fun for all!
Please bring the family and join us at the hall from 7pm if you can, we would love to see you there.
We’re pleased to be back with a stall at the Costessey fete on the Saturday. Come and visit us if you’re there!
We’re running a tombola and would really appreciate donations of prizes we can give away. If you can donate anything, please bring it to the hall by Friday 19th September. Thank you!
We’ll be marking Remembrance Sunday with the local community in once again this year.
The finer points will be confirmed nearer the time, but it will likely be around 10am – 12pm in Old Costessey.

As we look forward to the start of the new term, please take a moment to help us make sure we have all the correct details for your scout by logging into OSM using the following link and confirming the requested information.
We’ve noticed some parents dropping young people off in the car park and letting them walk into the hall on their own before the start of sessions.
We ask that instead you please get out of the car and walk inside with your scout so that you can be sure there are leaders there that are ready for children to stay, as they may be busy getting ready for the session.

If you have a particular hobby, job or skill, we’d love you to come along and share your passion with our members.
With badges covering everything from money skills and space, to gardening and martial arts, there’s bound to be something we can learn from the skills you can share.
Please speak to a leader if you can!
Did you know our hall is available for hire? Whether you’re organising a birthday party or bake sale, we’d love to host your event.
We have extremely competitive rates and all funds go directly to our scout group, keeping your subs low!

You can book our hall for parties, functions, meetings and other events. The hall is used most weeknights for Scouts & Guiding, but is available weekday daytime and most weekends are also available to hire.
